I often hear what a better sound quality a compact disc recording has.
I actually prefer the original vinyl recordings of classic rock, rhythm
and blues and other sounds. The remixes of these into cd form just
do not seem to have the rustic and bassy qualities of the originals.
For example,I find the tune Dear Mr.Fantasy by Traffic more vibrant
in the original vinyl album form than in the remixed cd.
I do not have a problem with the current tunes that are only in cd form.
I assume that some tipsters are into jazz and classical music.
What is your opinion about your originals vinyl of these recordings
in contrast to a box collection cd set of these remixes?
As to the relevance of this topic to psychology,to what extent is
my vacilating resistance to cd sound quality be indicative of
state-dependent learning(you know the old is better idea)?
or is this a form of fixation on vinyl albums?
or do I just have good musical taste in lieu of tacky inventions?
