Of course, for some of us, we are moving into the year 5760 in a few weeks -
the change in millennium to 2000 occurred 3760 years ago!

Remind the students that we are not talking about something that is
principally "real".  It is a social construction.  The only reality is that
the IBM folks (and others) were not as smart as the Apple/Mac folks in
recognizing that the calendar flip would occur.
