As a Reed alum who is involved [sometimes] in new student recruiting, I can assure you that Reed does not, in fact, have a booth at the Oregon State Fair. Most of our recruting is by "word of mouth" [e.g. I found out about Reed from a high school math teacher whose son went there], reputation, and sending alumni reps to college fairs and to interview prospective students. ------------------ Ann Muir Thomas, Ph.D. http://erebus.bentley.edu/empl/t/athomas "The Accidental Jewess" Bentley College, Waltham, MA "You aren't belittled by being little.
