Re. the "politically correct title" - that was at the suggestion of my
academic dean, and I do think it's appropriate, as what I'm trying to teach
are the proper methods of establishing the authorship of the words and ideas
in papers that use references. But of course that's just the flip side of
"avoiding plagiarism", so call it what you will...
