I would really love to have some kind of either poster or round table at
NITOP with people who currently have Psych courses that are entirely web
based. I am finishing mine this semester, but sections of the course are
through WebCT, which does not allow for others who are interested in doing
such courses access to see how my course is structured (assuming of course
that someone would want to see it). I dare say that many other web courses
are set up in the same way. I'm sure that there are numerous ways that such
a course could be run. Are there others who are interested in setting up
something which describes how their course is run on the web so to help
others who are building web courses (things that work and things that don't
work) and help those of us who have web courses (How do you run your
course)? I am in charge of the intro course (which is why the focus is on
that currently), but it certainly wouldn't be limited to that. E-mail me if
you are interested - I am thinking this could work for NITOP or APS or
certainly some of the regional conferences.
