TIPSters,

A year ago, in the journal Nature, Larson & Witham reported the results of
their research on attitudes of scientists toward religion. They found that the
relative athiesism of the majority of scientists has remained unchanged from
1914 to 1998 -- only 40% of scientists believe in God. Larson & Witham have
written a nice article on their research in the Sept. '99 issue of Scientific
American. Check it out. In addition, check out the special issue of the
Skeptical Inquirer on science & religion in the July/August '99 issue of SI.
