Am I correct in assuming that homeostasis, as used in motivational theory, pertains only to the return of biologival equilibrium after the satisfaction of the primary biological drives? So if one has a need for love and satisfies one's love needs,this would not be classified as homeostasis. Or could we label this as psychological homeostasis? Michael Sylvester Daytona Beach,Florida
