Tipsters,
I was sitting with a colleague while looking at the latest Ritalin
postings. The question of who discovered Ritalin came up. My colleague
has had correspondence with a person who has found that if you go to the
manufacturer, they claim they have no information. This individual dug
further and found it referenced as discovered in Europe 1944. That's
it. Now that is a bit unusual for a drug to have so little information
associated with it. That suggests to me that this drug may have been
discovered/tested during Nazi Germany and the company is a bit reluctant
to publisize that information. This obviously has some unsettling
implications. Anyone know the facts? I don't want to promote a
conspiracy theory regarding Ritalin...but....
Many thanks!
