To change the subject (please!),

I am interested in beginning an exchange on the degree to which, and the methods by
which, concepts from the field of community psychology are introduced in other courses
(intro, abnormal, clinical, etc.). Many programs (especially in smaller schools) do
not offer courses in community psychology or
(like my own program) offer those courses infrequently. Do we need to raise awareness
of these more peripheral areas of psychology, and if so, what is the best way to go
about doing this? Are there other underrepresented areas to which students should
also be exposed?

Steve
