Department of Psychology, Lehman College, The City University of New York,
invites applications for 1 or 2 tenure-track positions at the
Assistant/Associate level. Salary range is $32,703-68,174 dependent upon
credentials and experience. Preferred areas of specialization are:
clinical, personality, psychometrics/quantitative, or
industrial/organizational. Applicants whose research and teaching
interests include cross-cultural issues are especially encouraged to
apply. A demonstrated ability to publish in peer reviewed research
journals, to establish a program of research that integrates
non-traditional, multi-ethnic undergraduates into that research program,
and evidence of effectiveness in teaching is expected. The department
participates in NIH and NIMH funded programs that support the research of
faculty who mentor undergraduate students. Candidates are expected to have
a Ph.D. at time of appointment and to have a record of publication and
teaching experience.
