Hi,
Please forgive me if these 2 questions have already been discussed (and
in that case I'd love ideas on what month/year to search the archives). If
you would like to post your response to either or both of the below to just
me, I will post a summary to the list.

(1) We are trying to track down information about psychology as a major
in a liberal arts setting. How is that different than psychology as a
major at a different sort of institution, in what way does psychology
embody or contribute to the liberal arts ideal, etc. etc. In addition to
searching published sources (any leads you have there would be
appreciated), my department suspected some of you might have "in house"
memos and other materials. If you would be willing to share any of those,
we would appreciate it.
(2) I'm also interested in information about how many faculty members your
psychology department has, how many majors you have, and how many students
are at your institution. anyone who has time and could jot off those
couple figures to me -- it would be greatly appreciated. Again, we are
doing a more traditional search for this info, but are hoping to get more
info via this listing.

Thanks very much!!
Please post responses to me, I'll post a summary of answers to the list.
