TIPS-folk -
I have been appointed to an ad hoc committee to revise my institution's
faculty handbook - both content and layout. I would find it very helpful to
know what is in the faculty handbooks of other institutions, and I would also
like to know, especially from more junior faculty, what often *isn't* in
faculty handbooks but *should be*. If any of you would care to give me your
advice, I would be glad to hear it. I would also like to receive copies of
other institutions' faculty handbooks if any of you have one you are willing
to mail, and I would appreciate receiving URL's for on-line faculty handbooks
that any of you know of. We are planning to put our on-line once we get it
revised, so I'll be able to share that resource with anyone who is interested
later on.
