A few day ago I sent the following post to TIPs. I have received no reply. Perhaps all
the commotion regarding Dr. Davis is the reason. Perhaps it is not. Regardless, I am
truly interested in list member's experience (positive, negative, neutral) with
cooperative learning and have difficulty believing that not a single TIPs subscriber
has tried to use this approach. Thus, I am again requesting your input.
The March 2000 issue of the APS OBSERVER has an article on cooperative learning (by
Diane Halpern). As someone who has made minimal use of cooperative learning, I am
interested in (1) other's experiences (what worked, what didn't, etc.) and (2)
reactions to Halpern's article.
Thanks
