I sent this message about one hour before Stephen Black's answer appeared
confirming that William James HAD used nitrous oxide. I don't want you to think
that I don't read all the messages in a thread before responding. I have been
having a great deal of trouble posting to TIPS this week. Today, it seems that
they are getting posted very slowly.
