Mike and others -
I really like Paula J. Kaplan's and Jeremy B. Caplan's (1999) _Thinking
Critically about Research on Sex and Gender_ (2nd ed.). New York:
Addison-Wesley-Longman.
Not only do they review some of the research on sex and gender
differences, but they also discuss some of the problems in conducting research
on these topics, and they model an excellent critical thinking approach that I
and my students have found to be very helpful.
