The July 28th Science Magazine has a number of articles of interest to
psychologists. There is a whole section on violence, including discussions
of both nonhuman and human research.

The issue also contains a summary of research showing that, in rats, pain
during the first days of life makes the animals more sensitive to pain later
in life. The implicaitons for human infants is discussed.

Finally, there is a brief summary of an article showing how parasites might
change behavior in rats, again with a discussion of human implications, and
some suggestive human research.
