easily portable on floppy (or Zip) disk
colorful, ritzy look, compared to b/w overhead transparencies
easy to integrate web sites when classroom computer is online

once through the initial learning curve, prep is no more complicated than
paper and pencil notes
it's another kind of high-tech to fiddle with in my leisure time
