I have taught a course like this for about 4 years now. It changes each
year as the technology and the information literacy of the student body
change. There is information about at least last year's course at

Subject: Computers in Psychology Course

Hello all,

My department chair and I are discussing a Computers in Psychology course.
I was wondering if anyone else has offered such a course and, if so, what
you covered. Using computers for lit searches and searching the Web seems
like a given, as well as covering statistical analyses using SPSS or Excel.
custom-written programs, but I'm not sure it's fair to expect undergrad
psych majors to become programmers in only part of a semester.

Any thoughts appreciated,
Larry
