Dead sperms can be used to fertilize an ova. Therefore this could in
principle have been done.
There would be no difference in the brain. 5000 years is to short of time.
For example,
American Indians were genetically isolated for 25,000 years, and the Irish
were genetically isolated
for 8,000 years.
