TWO ASSISTANT PROFESSORSHIPS: University of Wisconsin - La Crosse:
SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST tenure-track assistant professor (Associate
professor may be considered) beginning August, 2001. The School
Psychology graduate program grants an Education Specialist degree and is
fully accredited by NCATE and NASP.   Prefer applicants with strong
interests in consultation/intervention, psychoeducational assessment,
and school counseling.  Graduate courses may include Consultation,
Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions, Behavior Modification and
Personality or Intellectual Assessment.  Other graduate duties include
Ed.S. theses supervision and supervision of student practica and
internships.  Undergraduate course expectations appropriate to
candidate's training and expertise. Applicants must have a degree in
school psychology or a closely related field, applied experience in
School Psychology, eligibility for Wisconsin School Psychologist
certification, and a strong commitment to training in and identity with
School Psychology.   EXPERIMENTAL PSYCHOLOGIST  A tenure track assistant
professor position beginning August 2001 for an experimental
psychologist.  Preference for a person with an emphasis in cognitive
psychology. Teaching duties will include experimental psychology and
general psychology and may include history & systems, psycholinguistics
and other classes in advanced experimental or psychobiology (such as
learning & memory, cognitive processes, and physiological).  Knowledge
and interest in computerized lab activities desired.  For BOTH searches,
preference will be given to applicants with a completed doctoral degree
(advanced ABDs considered), commitment to undergraduate teaching and
advising, evidence of research ability and ability to involve students
