Hi TIPsters, You all give such good advice and helpit is hard not to continue to take advantage of it! I am on a subcommittee working to develop a protocol for what a faculty member should do when a student comes to him or her complaining about another faculty member. For example, is the student routinely referred back to the faculty member s/he is complaining about? Is that faculty members Chair involved? What kinds of complaints are considered "valid" and given serious consideration of some kind (and what kind), and what kind of complaints are not entertained? Does your department or institution have a written or unwritten policy regarding such occasions? If so, I would be most grateful if you would share that information with me. Please reply off line; no need to clutter the TIPS airwaves with this. Thanks, --Kathy Morgan Dept. of Psychology Wheaton College Norton, MA 02766 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
