Good morning/afternoon everyone. I am looking for suggestions for supplemental books for our Brain and Behaviour Course. This course is a 2nd year course that serves as an introductory course to Brain and Behaviour or Biological Psychology. Currently, the textbook used in this class Biological Psychology, 6th edition, by Kalat. Some suggestions for additional material which have been made is 'Mind and Brain' (Scientific American) which, from what our bookstore tells us, is out of print. The second suggestion, also published by Scientific American, is their book titled 'The Scientific Book of the Brain'. Has anyone used this book with their classes? If so, how was it received? Or, if anyone has other suggestions, I would very much like to hear them. Thank you all for your help and comments.
