Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, is seeking a tenure track, assistant professor in psychology. This is a new position and the area is open, though applicants must have an applied focus to their research and teaching. The position requires establishment of a programmatic line of research and solicitation of external grant funding. The position involves teaching three courses a semester; courses to be taught may include applied courses in industrial/organizational, clinical, program evaluation, statistics, research methods and courses in the candidate�s area of expertise. Salary is competitive; the successful candidate must have a Ph.D. (Applicants who are ABD and near completion of the Ph.D. will be considered.)

Dependent upon approval of future sabbatical leaves, this position may be continued for up to three more years. The teaching load for this position is four courses per semester. Courses must include intro, research design, and statistics as well as courses like cognition, abnormal, personality, or physiological.
