Harry and others possibly interested,
Dimensioned drawings for the distorted room ("Ames room") and other
demonstrations appear in the volume Ittelson, W. H. (1968). The Ames
demonstrations in perception. New York: Hafner. In a moment of perspicuity
years ago, I actually bought the volume.

Ittelson, by the way, might could be contacted directly, if you want some
"horse's mouth" info. I know he published an article in Psychonomic Bulletin &
Review a few years (maybe five?) ago.

Not to question your decision, Harry, but a 8x8x8 space is quite a lot of room
to give up to a single demonstration. I'd wonder whether there might be more
advantageous, and less space-intensive projects, you might consider.
