The Nova Southeastern University Behavioral Sciences Department is pleased
to announce the results of its Eleventh Annual Psychology Department
Newsletter Contest. Four judges, including students and faculty members,
rated submitted
newsletters on three dimensions: apparent importance of information to
students, writing quality, and format attractiveness. None of the judges
had any connection, past or present, with the institutions submitting
entries.

The winner of the 1999-2000 contest was the "Psychology Update" of the
Oklahoma State University Department of Psychology.

Prior winners include the psychology departments of Arizona State
University, Kennesaw State College, California State University at San
Bernardino, the University of Missouri -- Columbia, Belmont University,
Canisius College, St. Peter's College, and Georgia State University.
