DOMAN WAS VERY INFLUENTIAL IN SPECIAL ED AND EARLY INTERVENTION IN THE US
ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO. THESE WERE THE ORIGINAL "PATTERNING" PEOPLE, I BELIEVE.
THEIR METHODS REMAIN LARGELY UNSUPPORTED BY RESEARCH, ALTHOUGH SOME N=1
STUDIES ARE AVAILABLE. IT IS CONTROVERSIAL AND VERY EXPENSIVE. ONE PT OF MY
ACQUAINTANCE POSITS THAT ANY TIME PARENTS WILL WORK WITH THEIR CHILDREN IN
STRUCTURED SETTINGS FOR HOURS EVERY DAY, SOME IMPROVEMENT WILL RESULT.
