The Learning Channel (TLC) will broadcast a one-hour special entitled

                            FALSE MEMORIES

         Tuesday, November 14 at 10pm (Eastern/Pacific Time)
                                 and
                      three hours later at 1am.

                   The Los Angeles Times reported:
"Kathy Bates narrates this look at how false memories are created.
Included are interviews with psychologists, victims of false memories
                        and police officers."

         The website (tlc.discovery.com/tv/tvschedule) says:

Discover the frightening fallibility of memory, more like a story with
gaps filled by the brain than an account of the facts. Learn how
different video playback and memory can be, and meet people whose
lives have been shattered by false recollections.
