Just had a brief conversation with an e-colleeague about teaching
eloquently.  I told him that I didn't think that teaching eloquently
really should be that grand lecture, that dramatic performance, that
magnificant presentation.

        Teaching eloquently really means being a lid-lifter, a value
adder, a transformer, a nurturer, a gift giver, and a servant.
