TIPSters, I'm designing a new course for an aeronautical college (changing horses to some new schools because I can no longer rationalize a long, long commute for an adjunct position) and am hoping TIPS can help with 1) textbook suggestions and 2) content suggestions for a course about Gender Issues, perhaps with an emphasis on workplace issues. The school is about 80% male, so I felt "gender" might be more appealing than "women" - at least as a course name. ;-) Am looking at Gender by Linda Brannon and Sex and Gender by Hilary Lips. As for content, I'm still toying with ideas... TIA, Beth Benoit (New Horses: Daniel Webster College Portsmouth NH and College of Lifelong Learning New Hampshire University System Portsmouth NH) |
