The Society for the Teaching of Psychology announces its first annual program at the American Psychological Society convention in Toronto June 14-17, 2001. Highlights include invited presentations by Diane Halpern and Milton Hakel (Applying the Science of Learning to the University and Beyond); Mitch Handelsman (Positive Approaches to the Teaching of Ethics); Margaret Matlin (How Cognitive Psychology Can Enhance Your Students' Learning); and Pamela Ansburg, Michael Caruso and Sally Kuhlenschmidt (To Infinity and Beyond: Developing Web Pages for Psychology Instruction); an evening reception for teachers; and an opportunity to meet with several of the APS invited speakers to learn how best teach their research findings.
