I keep reminding myself that that really is OK, I'm leaving of my own choice. At any rate, I thought it might be very appropriate to list the information on this list serv. I have already explained to my divisional chair that members of Divison Two and Tipsters should be given special consideration. :-) So here is the official information: Jefferson College is seeking highly qualified, highly motivated full-time faculty who are committed to mastery learning and the optimum development of positive student outcomes. The individuals selected to join Jefferson College's excellent full-time faculty will demonstrate an aggressive interest in the use of technology to expand and improve the learning environment. PSYCHOLOGY. Tenure track, rank commensurate with education, experience, and professional qualifications. Responsibilities: Teach psychology courses which may include General Psychology, Child Development, Adolescent Psychology, Psychology of Personal Adjustment, and Human Development; participation in departmental and institutional activities; and student advising; institutional service; community service; and experience or strong interest in developing computer assisted instruction and use of technology in the learning process. Qualifications: Master's degree in psychology and college teaching experience preferred. Preference given to individuals with graduate level work beyond Master's. Prefer evidence of effective teaching in the classroom and ability to assess and document student-learning outcomes. All faculty positions begin August, 2001. Salary placement on schedule, determined by experience and qualifications.
