Interesting question. Up there with whether psychology is a science or a
humanity. Until that question is resolutely answered, I'm not sure the
differences are as dramatic and precisely defined as some would have us
believe. There's a lot of one in the other, and to excel in one a person
had to be some of the other. Maybe it would be best to ask psychologists
about psychology--although that wouldn't put the impact of the humanity v.
science issue to rest--and philosophers about philosophy. We'd get less
vested interest, bias and skewed answers from each about the other. And,
let others come to conclusions as they put responses side by side. Just
being a gadfly.
Make it a good day.
