Actually, yes. Whoops - now I've posted, so I guess we still don't know.

I've been following the discussion with a great deal of interest as it
touches areas I've wondered about for years. I was a practicing (I never did
get it quite right) Catholic until I got about half way through my undergrad
education. I simply couldn't reconcile what I was learning with what I knew
of Catholic (or, more generally, Christian) doctrine. There are certain
questions I have about what I see as fundamental Christian beliefs that I
simply cannot answer and that I've never heard good answers to (I'd post
some of them, except that every time I ask them, no matter how gently, some
perceive them as attacks). So, I now consider myself agnostic, but I find
myself perpetually interested in the interactions between people of faith
and others.

So, please continue - this is cool stuff.
