Hello everyone,
        During this Nobel Prize thread, I've been expecting someone to
mention Egas Moniz who, while not a "psychologist", however one defines that
term, won the Nobel Prize for psychosurgery, a rather embarrassing memory
for Psychology.  Since no one brought it up, I thought this might be a piece
of free-floating misinformation that had somehow attached itself to my
memory stem.  Upon looking this up at the following website, I am still of
two minds, as is apparently the person who wrote the article.

        Did Egas Moniz win the Nobel Prize or not, and should we be be a
little embarrassed or very embarrassed if he did?
