Judging from the other comments, it seems that my
fellow tipsters are in agreement re: Myers. I use both the Exploring
Psychology (4th ed) for my hs intro class and Myers 98 for my AP psych
class. Both books have gone over very well.
Why did I select them? First of all, they are darn
good books and the ancillaries are super (though the transparencies for both are
duplications). I especially like Jane Halonen's Critical Thinking exercises
(a must for the infamous NCA accreditation process). The kids also like
them and I notice that both of these books are equally as popular with my
colleagues down the road at Ferris State University.
Finally, the Worth reps did a great job of helping
me.
