Sure. Here is the question with the scoring rubric. It is formatted
much better in MS Word (see attachment). The numbers to the left are
the point you receive for the various levels of excellence in
answering that part of the expectation.
Folks will be interested to know with this question, and with giving
the scoring system away ahead of time, the average points received on
the essay was 19 (mode, 20), with a range from 7 to 24. The (F. S.
or psych) is short for Freud, Skinner, or other stuff from our intro
psych text (Mynatt & Doherty).
Sorry about this formatting (the attachment looks much more straight
forward). We actually use the sheet on the attachment to do the
scoring and attach it to the returned essay.
