Rick here is guilty of the bifurcating, totalizing, overly-rigid,
polarizing, and dichotomizing rational thinking that is a major
part of the colonizing hegemony of Eurocentric discourse. Were
he not so blinded by his narrow Western cultural perspective,
Rick would probably appreciate that logical coherence and
consistency are _not_ principles universally accepted in all
epistemologies, which are of course equally valid means of
understanding, as the numerous critical disciplines have made
abundantly clear in their radical, constructivist transformation
of academia. ... Umh, perhaps I have been reading too much of
this stuff ... it sure flows and is a lot easier than making
sound arguments!
Best wishes
Jim
