I've been wondering about Michael, Stephen, and others for almost as long as I
have
been on this list (5 years?). For me, a highlight of any conference I attend is
meeting TIPSters that I have already met, as well as meeting others for the first
time. In fact, I am sure that this has been proposed before, but I wish we all
wore some additional tag that could easily identify ourselves as belonging to this
wonderful discussion list. As an alternative I wish we could have a sort of TIPS
social hour.

In my case, I am usually very surprised when I meet a TIPSter at a conference
because I discover a great discrepancy between the image that I had formed of that
person vs. the actual person.
