Steve, you might want to check out some books authored by Eileen
Gambrill as being relevant to those interested in clinical and social
work fields. While I have not examined them exhaustively, they appear
to provide an emphasis on critical thinking ideas and understanding of
relevant research approaches that might be useful in preparing some
