Yep. I'm a Lilly old timer, as they say. I'm a regular featured
presenter at the main Lilly at Miami U. Have been for the past eight
years. It's a conference like you've never been to before. It's all
about teaching. There will be about 450 learners attending from all
disciplines and institutional levels and many countries, almost no egos,
no ties, no dresses, all relaxed and intense at the same time, fun and
serious, all interactive presentations, friendly and family atmosphere.
We are all housed together, eat together, schmooze together for two and a
half days. It's hard not to leave with new friendships formed. It's a
winner in every aspect. I highly reccommend it. Get there it is at all
possible. This year the dates are 11/15-18. You can see the prelims on
the conference website: www.muohio.edu/lillyconference
The regionals are obviously not as large, of the same quality, but with
the exception of the western regional at Lake Arrowhead, I find don't have
the same community atmosphere.
Make it a good day.
