If the current generation of 18 year olds are perceived as different,its
probably because the baby boomer parents are to blame.For one thing,
instead of trying to continue the philosophy and psychology of resistanc
to the artificial ,tacky and bias hypothetical philosophical imperialism
of the past,we became co-opted and are engaged in terrible undertakings
that are anti-harmonious for society. Baby boomers are to blame for the
anti-immigrant feelings,decline in the public schools (by voting against
sales tax),harsh sentences for drug offenders,conspicous consumption
of upgraded technology,playing stocks (not a real job) and have
less quality time to help shape the direction of youth.
>From my experience,the young kids are probably more tolerant of diversity,
from Rock music to Swing,from Freud to Maslow and so on.
