Not to burst your bubble, Michael, but:
1. WE aren't holding the disputed land in the first place--so we
can't "give it back."
2. Israel is a sovereign nation--do you suggest we use military
force to control our allies expansion as a response to the use of
violence against our civilians by their enemies?
Sorry, Michael, but when terrorists try to control other nations
by killing their civilian citizens, it's time to stomp out those
terrorists. I've never supported Israeli expansion--but right now if
they were to suggest that they needed the land occupied by Afghanistan,
I'd be very tempted to offer to loan them the 182 Airborne to help out!
You don't stop terrorism by capitulation--you stop it by
inflicting such severe penalties on them that no one in their right mind
would do it again. The USSR had a policy that if an aircraft were
hijacked the terrorists would NOT leave it alive--NO negotiations, no
exceptions. They didn't have very many (one) hijackings after they made
that decision.
I'm amazed that you would consider using the aftermath of this
tragedy to put forward your anti-Eurocentric crap--amazed and offended.
