The Department of Psychology at Randolph College (founded as Randolph-Macon 
Woman's College in 1891), an independent, selective liberal-arts institution, 
invites applications for a one-year visiting position in Cognitive/Experimental 
Psychology with a preference for individuals who specialize in social 
cognition. A Ph.D. is preferred. Teaching responsibilities include introductory 
psychology, research methods, cognitive psychology with a lab component, social 
psychology, and an upper-level class in candidate’s specialty area. Teaching 
load is three courses per semester. Applicants with teaching experience will be 
given priority.  

Candidates should send a letter of application, curriculum vitae, and evidence 
of teaching effectiveness, and arrange to have three letters of recommendation
