I'm looking at some survey results from the General Social Survey
and I'm seeing the abbreviation "iap" - does anyone know what this
means? Usually the letters are found next to: DK (don't know) and NA
(not available).  Just not sure what IAP stands for.

"Inappropriate," i.e. "does not apply"?  Here's one document where
"inappropriate" is spelled out
