EAST CAROLINA UNIVERSITY - Department of Psychology invites applications for 
one fixed-term position at the level of Teaching Assistant Professor to begin 
on August 16, 2010.  A Ph.D. from an appropriate program in psychology is 
required; specialization is open, but preference will be given to individuals 
with experience teaching undergraduate courses in introductory psychology and 
research methods, as well as ethnocultural, abnormal, or child psychology.  The 
successful candidate will have an excellent record in the teaching of 
psychology, face to face and/or online.  Service, particularly advising 
undergraduate majors, is expected.  Teaching load is four classes per semester 
and the position may be considered for reappointment annually.
