Just as phylogeny recapitulates ontogeny or vice versa(never seem to get this
correct),depression may be viewed similar to a physical-gravitational system.
The ordinary layman may assume that it is gravity that is at work and pulls us
down and that is why we remain seated, but the reality is that it is the force
above our head that depresses us and keeps us on the ground. Now let us assume
that brain cells are governed by those same forces that depresses them so that
they be stabilized,it could also be assumed that human depression may be a
function of not only biochemical events but also of
gravitational factors.
I am not sure if that has been done but it would be interesting to see if
depression
can be managed by putting clients in a gravity free chamber.
