Boy, if you thought university education programs were problematic 
before, wait until "alternative programs" are accredited to give out 
graduate degrees in the topic.

This is being billed as a way to include more on the "craft of 
teaching," but it is only a matter of (a very short) time before all 
manner of crackpot cults start lobbying to give "degrees" in "education" 
as they conceive of it.

It is always easier to make things worse than to make things better.
