Why do many Americans think yhat El Cinco de Mayo is Mexican independence day? And why do they refer to Mexican food as Spanish food? As the cross-cultural dude on Tips,it is my understanding that the Mexicans do not celebrate El cinco as they do in the U.S with coronas.
