Watson, an artificial intelligence program developed in the IBM labs as part of a project on question answering in natural language (apparently, there isn't much money in building chess playing programs that can beat world chessmasters but an accurate question answering machine can replace personnel on helplines and other areas where customers ask questions -- a significant "revenue stream").
