Dear Tipsters,

depicting Milgram/Shatner as divorced."
In an earlier posting, I commented on the fictional "love interest" in the
film. Perhaps there was no hint of a relationship between Milgram and his
assistant, but it Thomas's information provides an important correction to a
distortion about Milgram's personal life. It is also interesting that Milgram
himself saw the film as riddled with video clichés.
If any of us do show this film to students, or draw their attention to it,
perhaps we can ensure that such deviations from fact are corrected.
Sincerely,
Stuart McKelvie
